Fingers crossed. Its not even them though, am sick of reality repeats on all shows. Project Runway is terrible.February 19, 2012 at 6:44 pm #240082
On tonight. Word is that the premiere has one of the best endings to an episode ever.February 19, 2012 at 10:29 pm #240083
Those poor, poor girls. I swear I saw them look at Phil, so I don’t know how they didn’t see him.February 21, 2012 at 7:34 am #240084
“My uterus is in my mouth.” LOL.
Great premiere. Lots of law enforcement teams on this season.
And yeah, those girls…it was obvious they were going home because when the skydiving part was happening and they cut to their post-interview, the girl had major tears going on in her eyes. But how could they not spot the pit stop? Not only did they not see Phil, you could see in the other shot (when they finally saw the pit stop) that there are about 20 crew members at the spot as well. Really strange that they didn’t spot it.March 4, 2012 at 12:52 pm #240085

I thought that was a really exciting episode (The Amazing Race has the best editing around). Any leg that ends in a foot race turns out great.
It wouldn’t be reality TV if Rachel Reilly wasn’t having a breakdown every episode, but she was great in the challenges tonight. Dave and Rachel wasted their express pass (bad, bad decision on their part, and all they got was sixth place for it). The Border Patrol agents are starting to grate (one of them said they were like Michael Jordan? OK). Slightly sad for the twins, especially as a viewer/they’re eye candy perspective, but they’ve had a lot of problems since the beginning of the race.March 5, 2012 at 11:31 am #240087
It’s always interesting when a challenge runs way longer than expected. For example, stringing a harp or stacking watermelons this past episode. There is always a WTF? vibe from the locals.
Second time this season TAR has had a never-happened-before moment. Last episode, they had a team unknowingly turn around and run in the opposite direction after being within yards of Phil and the pit stop. This time, they had a team leave a leg of the race unfinished, take a huge time penalty, and yet NOT be eliminated, which indicates how damn long those final teams took to finish their tasks.
Agreed that a foot race to the finish line is great TV. I think the hottie twins could very well have beaten the team before them if they had the energy. When you know you could be eliminated, it’s worth running. But it puzzles me why two teams race to the finish when they know they’re not last and will finish within seconds or minutes of each other anyway.March 5, 2012 at 2:57 pm #240088
What also may have messed the twins up were those minutes when they were debating whether or not to switch to the other task.March 5, 2012 at 6:13 pm #240089
Very solid episode indeed, and unlike BB, the editing isn’t intended to make people root for Rachel/Brendan.March 5, 2012 at 10:01 pm #240090
Wow. That was an Emmy-winning episode if I ever saw one. Absolutely incredible. One of the most intense episodes I’ve ever seen (that wasn’t a finale). That absolutely put teams through the ringer and it was fascinating to watch.
And how goodlooking are the men this season? Wow. The twins, Brendan, David, Ralph, Jersey Shore. Bunch of hotties.March 6, 2012 at 1:46 pm #240091
The last episode was pretty intense.. Kinda makes me on the edge of my seat for Expedition Impossible though. These tasks seem a bit, I don’t know, tame.March 6, 2012 at 7:43 pm #240092
wow. It was a good ep. I’m not a regular watcher, but watching that they are in my country was great. Every place I know, and in my university campus. I didn’t get notice that they were filming here. and the girl with the host at the end of the race in the escalinata antequera is my boss’ niece.
