The contestants for the 13th season of the Apprentice were just announced. I have to say I’m surprised they made it an All-Star Edition with returning stars, but its still going to be interesting.

    The Contestants:

    Men:
    Trace Adkins
    Stephen Baldwin
    Gary Busey
    Penn Jillette
    Lil Jon
    Bret Michaels
    Dennis Rodman
    Dee Snider

    Women
    Marilu Henner
    La Toya Jackson
    Claudia Jordan
    Omarosa
    Lisa Rinna
    Brande Roderick

So who do you fellow Derbyites see winning the 13th season of The Apprentice?

This cast is a disaster, and not in a good way. They had better people on previous seasons who can’t be that busy right now.

I didn’t watch season one, but considering the other seasons, I don’t have a clue of a possible winner. Of course it will depend on the charity, Donald is clearly going for the charity as much as the celebrities themselves lately, that has to be the only explanation for Arsenio Hall even making it to the finale.

I’m ready for Omarosa vs. LaToya, you know that’s coming. Other than that, nothing seems too exciting about this season.

I miss the apprentice when it was just normal people……not celebrities.

The most interesting bit from this announcement is that there are two more guys than girls in the cast, which means they won’t be separated by gender.  I wonder how they’ll do it, then…

Also, I read that all of the previous celebrity winners (except for Bret Michaels, who for some reason is being allowed to participate) are gonna appear as advisers this season.  If so, I sincerely hope that Omarosa’s still there when Piers is the adviser.

I know these types of reality shows are hyped up on the drama, but on a serious note, it will be interesting to see if Omarosa is the same monster she was before she met and became engaged to Michael Clarke Duncan. She herself said he made her realize how much of a better person she could be. This could be one of many chances to show the “new” Omarosa and actually fight for a charity.

Where is Joan Rivers, Marlee Matlin, Annie “the poker player”, Sharon Osbourne, Clay Aiken, etc. Why are these celebs who barely made the top 3 even on here?

I haven’t watched The Celebrity Apprentice 5 yet, so I can’t comment on Penn Jillette and Dee Snider. But Dennis Rodman and Gary Busey, seriously? I know they have big personalities, but they were useless players. Even worse, they include forgettable players like Claudia Jordan and Lisa Rinna. And La Toya Jackson really keeps coming back, but she was fun last time around and she can be a strong player, so I’m fine seeing her back.

Since Brande is back, it will be fun to have Melissa Rivers back too.

Because Joan has moved on to bigger things. She has fashion police she just wrote a book and she has lots of shows to do. In a way the apprentice made a comeback for her. and Annie Duke….. GOD I HATE HER!!!

I love Annie Duke. She is a two-faced manipulative bitch, but to me she is one of the strongest players the show has ever had and she would make the upcoming all-star edition much more competitive. She should have won in her season. One may say Joan Rivers won because she was better in the final task, but we all know how much Trump was in awe of her. He allowed her back into the game after the shit she pulled when Melissa was fired.

It seems to be a trend. Annie was the better player than Joan, but she was extremely manipulative and vile. Just this last season, Arsenio Hall beat Aubrey O’Day, and in no universe would an objective viewer call Hall a better player than O’Day. But…She too was massively unlikeable. It was a breath of fresh air two seasons ago when the final two were Marlee Matlin and John Rich; two celebrities who were not only nice and civil to one another but actually there to fully fight and commit for their charity. That season is/was what the true premise of The Celebrity Apprentice is all about, even though I think Donald Trump himself prefers the drama side of things (who could ever forget Joan versus Annie, Omarosa and Pears, or, my personal fav, NeNe versus Star).

I hope that Omarosa has matured and is no longer the bitch she used to be… Talk about a reality show transformation if she appears to be a better person and has found kindness in her heart. What a show it would be if she apologized to Piers Morgan for all her cruel remarks and shows that anybody can change.

I agree this year’s cast is weird, but I am really rooting for LaToya Jackson and Lisa Rinna to try and win. Rinna wasn’t given a chance to win her season… she was the sacrifical lamb.

I am surprised they didn’t get Star Jones back. She was such a fascinating player. I also wish they’d gotten Melissa Rivers back.

I agree Nene vs. Star was EPIC in every way… But my personal favorite is when Nene called out poor, helpless LaToya and called her “Casper” and said “you’re a ghost, you do nothing, go away casper”… It was HILARIOUS…   I loved also when Nene was like “Dionne Warwick is a bitch.”    That was a big surprise to me, how poorly Dionne Warwick came across.  She didn’t seem all there at all.

It seems that someone updated Wikipedia and revealed the winner and the placement of who gets fired when.
I’m not too sure if this is legitimate or not.
Apparently, the final two in the finals are SPOILER Trace Adkins and Stephen Baldwin, with Adkins winning SPOILER
