Anyone on here watching/watched it?
The show is a comedy-drama about a psychopathic teenage boy that wants to murder this girl that he meets in school.
I finished Episode 4 and I’m really liking it so far. It’s got a 100% on RT.
It’s on Netflix.
You guys think this will get any love at the award shows?
I loved Lawther in Black Mirror. I tried to find the metacritic score for this but I couldn’t find it. Odd.
I binged the entire season and I loved it!
Is it less boring than 13 Reasons Why?
Is this Emmy eligible? I’m assuming no sense Chewing Gum was also a Netflix/ Channel 4 import and it wasn’t on the Emmy ballot. Not that the show would get any nominations. This was a fun, quick binge with two really good central performances. Great cast all around. Not perfect but a ton of fun. I’d be interested to see if this gets a season 2. I’ve already seen articles asking Netflix not to ruin another show, being this one, with an unneeded second season. A great show to start off the new year. Lawther will definitely be on my shortlist for my personal award for lead actor (comedy or limited, whichever this ends up). This was wildly innovative and at times unpredictable. This show is already becoming popular. I am usually the one to get to shows before all of my friends, but I have had 4 people recommend this to me already.
I do not recommend this to anyone that hated Three Billboards. There are many similarities.
This had such a strong premise that I felt a bit disappointed that they went away from it as the season went on. It definitely has it’s own unique voice though. Interested to see where they take the next season.
