I’m on the part of Mad Men where Alexis Bledel shows up for a few episodes. This and Handmaid’s Tale are the only things I’ve seen her in but I’m completely convinced that sometime between her Mad Men appearance and The Handmaid’s Tale, she was replaced with a clone who can act. It can’t be the same girl, I refuse to believe it.

    It’s Tatiana Maslany.

    It’s Tatiana Maslany.

No, it has to be a good actress.

I understand being annoyed by fan boys. But trolling is just as bad if not worse.

I’m hardly the only one on this site who hates actors shows or movies because of Stans.

(waves small hands) I love actors. Nobody loves actors more than me! Believe me!

And you aspire to be a like everyone else, prodding just to get a reaction? And at least Maslany actually does have talent and the stanning isn’t completely unfounded.

You guys really need to chill the fuck out. I think she’s extremely overrated, people on this site act like she’s the greatest actress of all time. Frankly there are several better leading women on tv who deserve emmys more than her. It’s annoying so I like to joke that I think she’s terrible because someone needs to balance out the crazy fanboys.

That just makes you look more crazy than the fanboys.

I criticize people’s opinion. I used to be very blunt and thorough here when it came to dissecting people’s opinions. But the jokes are lame, especially since you know damn well she’s not a bad actor. Say you think she’s overrated, give your reasoning and keep it pushing.

Also, this is hardly the only place where Maslany gets a great deal of hype and love. She has an Emmy in a very tough category for appearing in a little watched genre show on BBC America, and she didn’t submit all that well. She won due to passion votes. So, reducing her hype to just here is insincere.

How about you just not tell people what they should post huh? If I want to say Tatiana Maslany sucks, I will. I don’t even know what your last paragraph is about.

Yeah, the problem is I’ve seen you claim that she’s “lame” like four times this past week. I think it’s lame to witlessly keep trolling and prodding people. I understand if you want to engage in conversation, but that’s clearly not your intention. (Now I’m starting to get where Sasha is coming from with you).

Anyways, yes, Bledel seems like a completely different actor than she did on Mad Men. Hell, her recent performance in the Gilmore girls revival wasn’t particularly up to stuff compared to the rest of the cast. Maybe it’s just the perfect role and on point direction.

Lol, I have never used the words Maslany and lame in the same sentence. You seem to have a really big problem with the fact that I’m willing to have a minority opinion and I’m not sure why.

Who’s on the Strahovski train? I think the finale is a fantastic submission for her and after Moss (and maybe Bledel) she’s the most deserving of an acting nomination.

I would love to see her nominated but I’m not going to predict her.

She made my personal lineup but I don’t think she’ll get the Emmy nom (I don’t think anyone in the cast will, outside of Moss). Maybe if season two keeps up the buzz/quality and the show continues to become a bigger mainstream success, she could be a contender (same for Wiley, assuming her role is expanded in season two).
