The Normal Heart is a critical acclaim film made-for-television.
But, did you know that it was first thought to be made as a feature film?
What do you think. If The Normal Heart stuck as a feature film and is acclaimed as it is now, would it have a chance at the Golden Globes, the Oscar, etc;?
Would Ryan Murphy, Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, Matt Bomer or anyone else garner nominations elsewhere but mainly the Oscars?
This definitely could have been asked in the official thread.
Matt Bomer would probably be nominated for supporting actor, but I’m unsure of everything else.
