Why don’t more people watch this show? Season 1 was decent, and it got compared to ‘Entourage’ a lot, which isn’t really fair in the grand scheme of things, but it’s evolved and gotten much better since then with better writing and more focus on the characters and their friendships/relationships while trying to become successful in their own right. The show has improved greatly in it’s second season, and the whole cast has really brought their A-game, and I personally enjoy it much more than ‘Entourage’ now. Lake Bell is totally Emmy worthy, and I hope that she gets attention (even though I’m positive she won’t).

Am I the only one watching?

I really enjoy this show but it feels a lot more like 30 minute drama than a Comedy.  Still very engaging and well written characters for the most part.  Lake Bell just about the only one bringing any comedy to the table.  This week’s episode would be a great tape if nominated.

I actually really like this show. It’s extremely under-the-radar especially for airing on HBO, but there’s some solid storytelling going on there. Lake Bell was hilarious during that whole steam room/bodega sequence. I don’t know why, but I feel like the writers are going to try to somehow push her and Ben together again by seasons end.

I think everyone is so natural and great, they all fit these characters like a glove. I love the way the writers are having Rachel in this identity crisis, where she seems to be trying to find herself. Lake Bell plays the comedy perfectly, but it’s the little moments of drama that really allow her to shine. Rachel is both scared and excited on the inside about the possibility of doing something new, and I’ve loved watching her experiment with love and work, trying to find who she is and who she wants to be. Bell has been aces this season. I myself see the series as a drama with comedic moments, often times Bell’s character being the most comedic aspect.
