What problems do you have with your favorite shows. For me, I love 30 Rock, but I hate the sloppy continuity of the show. I also can’t stand any of the story lines involving the high sparrows on Game of Thrones. And even though Jessica Jones is my favorite show, I hate how there are so many lucky coincidences at perfect timing.

While Game of Thrones was my favourite show (seasons 1-4), the things I thought were done badly were Theon’s endless torture boring storyline in season 3, Daenerys’ Qarth season 2 storyline, and Jon Snow’s Crastor’s Keep season 4 storyline, mainly because they were quite obviously place-holding storylines that took up screentime that could’ve been used on Stannis for example.

The Leftovers’ only issue was the season 1 Holy Wayne stuff- I honestly can’t fault the second season in any way. Hannibal obviously requires huge suspension of disbelief (season 2 episode 3 was absolutely ridiculous) but that’s not necessarily a flaw. My biggest gripe is the procedural element of the first half of the first season.

    Carol Kane on Kimmy Schmidt

Kids…in general, very few shows can handle kids in a good way and to me the worst part is how they always like to make families bigger and bigger and include more kids they won’t be able to keep up with or give good storylines too. And then of course come the terrible casting. It happens everywhere, The Good Wife, Mad Men, Modern Family (after season 3 or 4), The Nanny, Homeland, to name a few. The usual “one line and up the stairs” routine is a pet peeve of mine.

Not every show can be as perfect with kids as The Middle or The Goldbergs. Blackish is a good example of a show that most of the time handles the kids very well, not the best of actors, but the writers’ intentions are always good.

I’m a big Grey’s Anatomy fan but I really hate how immature Meredith always acts. She is supposed be a highly educated surgeon and yet has the maturity level of like a tenth grader. I also hate how she has three kids and a demanding job and yet this is something you rarely see mentioned.

I’ve always loved The Golden Girls, but continuity was a huge issue for them. Facts about the ladies backstories were constantly changing, such as the names of their children; their kids ages, hell even how many kids they had.

The problem with Sherlock and Rick and Morty are the long breaks in between seasons, which I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t keep pushing back the release dates. I hate the fan theories in Game of Thrones, the fandom tries to predict what will happen in the next episode and when they are wrong, they blame the show. (No One being a prime example) I also find that there are implausibilities with certain events, such as Arya getting stabbed, and then the next day is seen doing parkour around Braavos, when later in the season, Lancel is stabbed in the leg and crawls really slowly over 20 meters, over what seems to be half an hour. Westworld is also a bit long. Most HBO shows don’t know how to use sex properly in a TV show, and in effect, most other networks now don’t really know how to use sex either.

The very first part of Hannibal S3 was super slow at a bit silly at times. But then it immediately recovered.

Twin Peaks, after they let us know who murdered Laura Palmer, wasn’t bad, but it really felt unnecessay.

This always bothered me: On SVU, the main thing was the friendship between Stabler and Benson and then he left. Fast forward to the storyline where she got kidnapped by Lewis and all of that and they didn’t make any effort to even mention “Hey Stabler called to check on you/stopped by/anything”. Probably just me?
On Game of Thrones, I get the time frame the season is in but I would like a more rapid pace every once in awhile. Also, Gendry….is he still rowing?
Criminal Minds since Morgan is gone…..is it just me or are they trying too hard to be scary.
Westworld: Again, probably just me but nobody else saw the house that Ford built based on his childhood? Weird.

Mom. Best sitcom on TV but can we please get rid of the wheelchair bf? The show is at it’s funniest when it concentrates on the women on the show and not male guest stars.

Same complaint for older female centric sitcoms too. THE FACTS OF LIFE episodes that concentrate on guest stars like parents, etc are my least favorite.

Any Golden Girls episode that doesn’t concentrate on the women. Like any episode with Stan or a visiting child.

I love 13 Reasons Why but I got so annoyed by a lot of stretches of imagination that made me role my eyes. And Alex could not act. Neither could the Asian whose name I am suddenly blanking on.

I hate that Sufe Bradshaw (Sue) in Veep has such a small role now. She used to be more involved in the storyline and since David Mandel took over she’s just kind of a cardboard cutout in the background. Hopefully she’ll have a bigger presence in season 6 but i’m not holding my breath.

This isn’t a favorite show of mine by any means, but the inconsistencies in Friends irks me to no end. I know it’s become quite a favorite, but the writers’ incapability of staying on track with storylines was/is absolutely ridiculous. They need to relight that “romance” between her and that guy who I forgot. The analyst.

On the Good Wife Kalinda was their best character, they gave her a horrible storyline in season 4, then they had to abruptly end it due to fan backlash and everyone since then she was mostly an afterthought. Also, that show was an ensemble it’s first few years, but by the end Julianna Margulies was completely separated from the rest of the cast all the time.

Josh Pfefferman on Transparent is an incredibly annoying character. All the characters are very flawed, but the others have some redeeming qualities. I just want to punch that guy in the face and take a shit on him.

Game of Thrones just makee some bad story choices from time to time especially the last two seasons, and with Arya and Dany a lot who just don’t really do anything. No One was so hard to watch because it was just really bad, mostly thanks to poor writing.

For The Wire it annoys me that more people haven’t seen it.
