Go ‘head. Please warn us ahead of time of your pending, smoldering rage … if your worst nightmare gets realized on Emmy Noms Day.June 23, 2014 at 6:28 am #320370
It will annoy me if The Michael J. Fox Show or The Crazy Ones are represented in any category, particularly lead actor in a comedy series.
I will be heartbroken if Veep doesn’t get a directing and writing nom.June 23, 2014 at 6:36 am #320371
I will be a bit heartbroken if they snub Orange is the New Black in Comedy, and The Good Wife not getting any major love (I will take some)June 23, 2014 at 6:43 am #320372
Emmy Rossum being snubbed. AGAIN.June 23, 2014 at 7:01 am #320373
1. If The Good Wife not having a increase in nominations in major categories
2. If Downton Abbey reaps a series nod. And also lead acting nominations
They are my main ones that would really fruastrate me
And I’d be annoyed if:
– Tatiana Maslany is not nominated when “boring serial nominees” and supporting performances make the line up
Emmy Voters, no more boring and predictable nominees! Shake it up with competive and different perfomances!!June 23, 2014 at 7:09 am #320374
Woody Harrelson missing out on a nomination.June 23, 2014 at 7:10 am #320375
I will be livid if Uzo Aduba is snubbed for Guest Actress in a Comedy for bigger named women.June 23, 2014 at 7:15 am #320376

I’m not going to “rage.” But, I will answer [Tom O’Neil’s] question with respect to what would most turn me off about the upcoming Emmys.
Nominations wise: the continued insistence of excessive nominations for AMC’s Mad About You and Showtime’s Homeland; knock them both out of the drama-series race, deny them acting nods (increased competition), and there is little or nothing to miss between the both of them.
Awards wise: yet another rubber-stamping of ABC’s Modern Family for outstanding comedy series. When the Emmys latch onto a given series, they keep awarding and re-awarding such a series beyond credibility. That has been the way Academy members have handled their best-series voting since at least the 1970s.June 23, 2014 at 7:15 am #320377
Emmy Rossum being snubbed. AGAIN.
Prepare to be angry.June 23, 2014 at 7:29 am #320378
I’ll boycott the Emmy’s if Orange is the New Black get’s no love what so ever.June 23, 2014 at 7:30 am #320379

If The Good Wife is not represented in Drama Series (and either Downton Abbey or Homeland is instead), I will honestly boycott the Emmys. I will also be disappointed if Julianna Margulies, Josh Charles, Christine Baranski, Carrie Preston, or the writers are snubbed. I will also be irritated if Mindy Kaling is not nominated in Comedy Actress, and I will be outraged if Masters of Sex is snubbed across the board, particularly in Guest Actor/Actress for Bridges and Janney.June 23, 2014 at 7:44 am #320381
I’d more surprised than angry if a lot of people and shows I expected to be nominated weren’t. However, I have read a few places online that are snubbing Martin Freeman in Lead Actor for Miniseries or Movie and that seems absurd to me.June 23, 2014 at 7:47 am #320382
Snubs (I will be absolutely heartbroken):
Homeland being snubbed across the board. That would be uncalled for, especially
seeing that Homeland’s alleged disastrous Season 3 is arguably better than a
handful of current Television Drama programs,.
2. Christopher Evan Welch (Silicon Valley) not getting that posthumous
Supporting Actor nomination. He surely deserves it.
3. Mariska Hargitay missing the nomination list yet again (I’m kinda prepared
for it, to be honest).
4. Orange is the New Black missing in Major
categories (Series, Writing, Directing, Actresses)
Potential Nominations that would send me into total rage:
1. Brooklyn Nine Nine over performing and getting major nominations across the
board. More than 3 Nominations would be WTF worthy….. I know they are siphoning votes
with their Food trucks parked across L.A streets, but come on!
2. All 4 Modern Family Actors making it in Supporting Actor . 5
seasons in, there are a handful of actors that deserves a spot in Supporting
Actor. Like seriously.

Alison Tolman for “Fargo”
Julianna Marguiles, Josh Charles & Christine Baranski in “The Good Wife”
Mariska Hargitay in “Law and Order SVU” (she was amazing in the episodes where she was kidnapped, beaten, etc.)
