I just watched Ben Mendelsohn’s episode submission for Bloodline “Part 32” and… it really sucked. I wound up skipping to just watch his scenes, and even then the writing was so terrible. 🙁
I’m genuinely embarrassed that I predicted Kyle Chandler to make it in such a packed category. But hey, they still found room for House of Cards’ Michael Kelly, didn’t they?! Anyway, I went to see what the IMDB score was for this damn thing, and it was 4.1 (off of 725 users), which is insanely low for an “Emmy nominated episode.” I remembered how in Short-Form Animated Program, the Teen Titans Go episode “Orangins” is at just a 5.2 on IMDB (off of only 6 users, granted), and now I can’t help but wonder: What Emmy nominated episodes this year have the lowest IMDB ratings?
Short-Form Animated Program: (Teen Titans Go) “Orangins” 5.2
Guest Actor in a Drama Series: Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline) “Part 32” 4.1
I got you all started with those 2, let’s see how many more Emmy-nominated stinkers (according to IMDB users) we can find!
I’m still surprised why anyone cares about IMDB ratings.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TELEVISION WITHOUT PITY RATINGS???
