Forget what will be nominated for Best Comedy Series at the Emmys. Some of them are not really comedies (I’m talking to YOU, Transparent). So then what is the FUNNIEST show on TV — even if you think it’s so trashy that it’s not an Emmy contender (“You’re the Worst”?) … I think “South Park,” when it’s at its best, has the most howls of brilliant humor …June 10, 2016 at 6:13 pm #1201849257
South Park is a good one. I used to laugh a lot watching Bordertown, but that wasn’t good at all.
Veep is easily my #1. I laugh from start to finish in every episode.June 10, 2016 at 8:12 pm #1201849323
I laughed a ton with Grace and Frankie this season (which wasn’t the case the first time around).
OSCAR FLASHBACK: Best Original Song (1963) – It’s a Meh, Meh, Meh, Meh CategoryJune 10, 2016 at 9:03 pm #1201849417
I gotta go with Inside Amy Schumer. That is one show that makes me laugh from start to finish; even in their less successful episodes.
Veep is a close second.June 11, 2016 at 12:04 am #1201849476
Veep is an obvious choice, but You’re the Worst and Review are a close second and third respectively
Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.June 11, 2016 at 7:04 am #1201849528
For me it is Modern Family in most years BUT not this year. For some reason and I know this show is not for everyone, it is Family Guy.June 11, 2016 at 7:14 am #1201849537
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or Broad City. Both are simply hilarious.June 11, 2016 at 7:27 am #1201849543
Veep, Review, Silicon Valley, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.June 11, 2016 at 8:15 am #1201849552
Veep (#1), Silicon Valley and, even though I’m not a regular viewer, I do find South Park quite brilliant.June 11, 2016 at 10:22 am #1201849581
Honestly… American Dad!
FYC: Ready Player One. Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Original Score, Production Design, Director and BEST PICTURE (make it happen Oscars!!)June 11, 2016 at 10:33 am #1201849584
Veep is the funniest show I’ve ever seen.
The joke-per-minute ratio is the highest of any show (someone analyzed it!).June 11, 2016 at 11:11 am #1201849595
For me, the three funniest shows currently on TV are (and it’s hard to rank them since they’re so different)…
2. The Goldbergs
3. VeepJune 11, 2016 at 8:59 pm #1201849800
Since veep is the obvious choice, I second “Broad City”June 12, 2016 at 2:29 am #1201849845
Veep is a clearly obvious one.
I’d add New Girl. I always laugh out loud during every episode.
