For me, it’s Neve Campbell. I’m not sure why she didn’t take off. After “Party of Five” and “Scream” she did some smart, interesting film work, and it looked like she would have staying power, but she never quite hit it big.

Apparently, she’s joining “House of Cards” next season. That could do the trick. Fingers crossed. 🙂

Mary Louise Parker. She needs another show that should last about 6 to 8 seasons.

    Marcia Cross
    Jane Kaczmarek
    Sela Ward

With the right script, anyone can do it. Look at Christian Slater with Mr. Robot

    All as regulars:
    Jane Kaczmarek
    Molly Shannon
    Ana Gasteyer
    Sean Hayes (he keeps trying)
    Blythe Danner
Diane Wiest (she’s got something coming up this season)

Oh my God, yes to Neve Campbell! I got so happy when I saw her in the Mad Men Season 7 opener.

I adore Mary-Louise Parker, but I selfishly don’t want her tied to one show for 6-8 seasons (partly because “Weeds” soured for me and I jumped ship a couple of season before it ended), Because she’s so good, I’d love to see her do an anthology show where she gets to play different characters every season for complete, (hopefully) awesome story arcs.

Just look at “Angels in America.” Obviously not an anthology, but wouldn’t you LOVE to see that same cast and crew (save the late Mike Nichols of course) do a different 6-hour miniseries every damn year? Squee!

Another one I thought of: Ally Walker. In hindsight, not sure “Profiler” was the best show ever, but when it was on, Samantha Waters was my spirit animal. Then she had that amazing performance in that little HBO nobody watched “Tell Me You Love Me.” She’s worked since then, but she deserves to be on the forefront of the cultural consciousness.

Well that would be okay too, as long as she is the star of the show.
Though I liked Weeds’ first 4 and the 7th seasons I can understand your frustration about it.
Of course I would love it if they did something like Angels in America but I don’t think a cast like that would ever happen again, it was too good for words.

Well, speaking of Weeds, Angels in America and Mary Louise Parker, I’d love to see Justin Kirk as a regular again.

I don’t understand what’s wrong with Molly Shannon’s career. At this point she should’ve had something big or at least “modest”. She’s in Sarah Jessica Parker’s new show on HBO. Let’s see.

Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, those are big question marks for me. It’s been long enough. Eva got her straight to series show so that’s another “we’ll see”.

Neve Campbell is also a weird case, to me, it’s looks like she’s the one holding back, I can’t imagine people not going after her.

She had tons of screentime in the first three seasons of Sons of Anarchy, and deservedly got a lot of hate for that role, which has probably somewhat hamstrung her since. A lot of her work in general came from being married to FX prez John Landgraf.

Yes! And one that doesn´t get cancelled after 2 seasons…

Rachel Griffiths and Lauren Ambrose for sure.
