    Game of Thrones
    The Good Wife
    Hannibal
    Homeland

Still haven’t started watching these series but could see any of them making the list: American Crime Story, The Americans, Better Call Saul, Daredevil, The Leftovers.

(I see some mentioned talk shows, but I’m going to stick to fiction. These are the first ten that came to mind.)

    Veep
    Homeland
    American Crime
    Silicon Valley
    Mr. Robot
    The Americans
    You’re the Worst
    Catastrophe
    Girls
    Louie

If American Crime “doesn’t count”, then The Knick or House of Cards.

    3. Scandal
    4. House of Cards
    5. Homeland
    6. Orange Is The New Black
    7. Orphan Black

and also Limited Series (since there were so many fabulous ones)
    1. Fargo
    2. American Crime Story- The People Vs. Oj
    3. The Night Manager
    4. Luther
    5. American Crime

Just because Emmy rules dictate otherwise, doesn’t mean you have to consider it a limited series.
From narrative and storytelling perspective Luther is no different than Orphan Black, HGAWM or any other regular shows you mentioned above.

Always forget that technically the 3rd season is eligible for this tracking period! In that case, it is only behind The Leftovers in my top 10 of the year (2nd).

I’ll show you mine if you show me yours:

    Mr. Robot
    Bates Motel
    Underground
    House of Cards
    Game of Thrones
    The Americans
    Veep
    Empire
    Mozart in the Jungle
    Outlander

I’m not counting limited series like “OJ,” “Fargo,” etc. There are too many great ones this year. They would take up too many slots …

Well, for me personally, I will mention the ten I most reliably watched during the 2015–16 television season (in alphabetical order):

    The Affair (Showtime)
    Banshee (Cinemax)
    Downton Abbey (PBS)
    Game of Thrones (HBO)
    Scandal (ABC)
    Scorpion (CBS)
    Silicon Valley (HBO)
    Survivor (CBS)
    Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix)
    Veep (HBO)
