One Day at a Time, Shameless, Girls, Search Party…

Out of the nominees Master of None because it was funny, inventive, emotional, and just in general a great season.

Master of None is my choice for Series, I love each season equally and am really impressed that they got so ambitious in season 2 and pulled it off.

In other categories, Donald Glover deserves at least one Emmy for his brilliant work on Atlanta (I don’t care which category, just something).

I watch more comedy than anything else and think Silicon Valley, black-ish and UKS are also great nominees, would love to see them pick up a win somewhere too (in the case of the former, Zach Woods finally getting in and winning would be a dream)

Atlanta is most deserving, the only other one I’m really okay with winning is Veep.

I am the only one who liked Master of None better last season, but Silicon Valley is the only other one of these that I really like and it had its weakest of its four seasons.

Honestly, I found season 1 of Master of None more consistent, but season 2 got all the nominations a series contender should have (except directing, but from memory your article suggests it’s not quite as important as writing, acting and casting. I’d be happy if it won for either since the show might be done.

Based on interviews with Mike Judge I’m hoping Silicon Valley gets better next season. It definitely felt like they were setting it up for where they want the next (and potentially final) two seasons to go

I think it should be between Black-ish and Silicon Valley. The latter gets my vote cause I think this season was actually funny.

My personal grade for season 1 was higher, but season 2 have so many terrific individual episodes that I need to see Master of None being recognize this year.

Master of None was emotional, inventive and powerful this season, all the while being incredibly funny as well.

Both Atlanta and Master of None transcended the genre in ways no other comedy has. I’ll be happy with either of the two winning, especially Master of None which has been somewhat of a spiritual enlightenment for me this season. I also think that the themes and subject matter explored in Atlanta was really well done and deserve recognition. Poor Veep, if only the season standout Timothy Simons had been nominated maybe i would root for it despite the messy season.

Eh…Master of None. But I’m not all that enamored with any of them.

None. The best comedy isn’t even in the lineup. Therefore it’s asterisk city for whoever does wins. There’s The Good Place, and then there’s everyone else.
