    Comedy.

Since Oscars usually only go for drama, the Comedy Emmy is (usually) the biggest award that a comedic actor can win.

^^ That’s an interesting thought! And I voted Comedy, too because I totally agree.

That’s a nice thought, Trent, but I think Drama would be considered more prestigious, at least right now, because the competition is more intense and there are more “strong contenders”. Comedy is at a close second though IMO.

Also…I think people generally take dramas more seriously, and are more impressed with dramatic performances than comedic ones.

If Comedy were the most prestigious all you would have to do is look at this years crop of series nominees to see the actual Emmy award devalue before your very eyes.  Drama is far and away the most prestigious.  If the Emmys went to “best show on TV” most Comedy shows, actors, writers, and directors would be left off.

    Drama by a stretch.
    Comedy is great.
Movie/Miniseries has lost its spark because although there are some great things in there it is mixed with some lesser quality lifetime shows which never really appeal to me.
