Last year, several high profile, popular programmes came to an end. Which of those have you missed having on the air this past season?
I’m asking about series which ended in the 2014/15 season – e.g. Mad Men, Glee, Parks & Recreation, Nurse Jackie, Looking etc.June 23, 2016 at 2:34 pm #1201855717

LookingJune 23, 2016 at 2:39 pm #1201855722
Definitely Glee. It could be written so badly at times but every episode was still a joy for me.June 23, 2016 at 2:48 pm #1201855735
Glee, Looking, Parks and Rec, Nurse Jackie, and Web Therapy.June 23, 2016 at 2:49 pm #1201855736
2014 – 2015:
Looking — My #1 show of the year, but at least we’re getting a TV movie!
Mad Men — I’m not the biggest fan of the show, and I still believe the program would be dramatically better with shortened seasons (scrap S6 pretty much altogether), but I do miss the craft and talent of it. Still, it ended really strongly!
Will miss next year:
Getting On – Sincere, lived-in, and wholly authentic. I’m going to miss these characters and patients the most.

Yeah Mad Men is a no brainer for me.
I also really miss Nurse Jackie, I know there were flaws in its last couple seasons, but it was still a very entertaining show, and there was something about the simplicity of it that I really likedJune 23, 2016 at 7:21 pm #1201855802
Glee. Truly changed my life. Yes, the quality of the show DRASTICALLY decreased after season 2 and was pretty embarrassing in seasons 4 and 5, but I actually thought season 6 was a big improvement (although nowhere near as great as seasons 1 and 2).June 24, 2016 at 11:32 am #1201856352
Mad Men and Parks and Recreation.June 24, 2016 at 11:59 am #1201856363
MAD MEN! First spring/summer without it, and it’s truly agonizing.June 24, 2016 at 12:00 pm #1201856364
Parks and Recreation, Mad Men and HannibalJune 24, 2016 at 12:20 pm #1201856380
It felt really weird not having Mad Men in my life this past Spring.
Also, really really miss Parks and Recreation – no other comedy has captured that spark for me this year. Superstore is getting there, though. It has lots of potential.
Also, it goes without saying – LOOKING! July 23rd can’t come soon enough.
