Which returning TV series do you think are the most improved and which ones do you find to be the most disappointing?
The leftovers season 2 was most improved, Orange is the new black season 4 was improved. Supergirl season 2 has been much better. House of Cards season 4 was much better than season 4.
Many people think Mr. Robot, and Unreal were not good compared to season 1, I don not agree. I see why people disliked season 2 of unreal, but it was still enjoyable. I completely disagree about Mr. Robot, I loved season 2. Season 2 is going to be the build up for a hopefully amazing season 3. I only hope the whole prison storyline will pay off somehow. I guess it could with the whole leo storyline, but I feel like that is too small to make the whole prison arc worth it.
Emmy-eligible stuff from the second half of the year:
1. American Horror Story
1. Mr. Robot
2. Scream Queens
4. The Last Man on Earth
How To Get Away With Murder is vastly improved over its second season, which at times was incoherent and unwatchable.
The Last Man on Earth
Mr. Robot (I liked a lot about season two, but it felt like a definite step back)
– I thought the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend premiere was much better than the first season finale, which I thought was horrifically shrill and everything the show had avoided becoming the previous 17 episodes.
– American Crime season two was an improvement over season one, mostly. The first seven episode were genius, but I think it peaked too early and the last three episodes (minus some/most of the finale) were deflating.
– The most recent half-season of The Fosters was leaps and bounds above what the show put out during the winter.
