I don’t think anyone will ever live up to the dynamic duo of Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance.

Tina Fey without a doubt. Jane Krakowski is also great. And Amy Pohler of course. JLD is on the list of course. Oh, and of course Lucille Ball.  And Shelly Long and Rhea Pearlman. I’ll say:

    1. Tina Fey
    2. Rhea Pearlman
    3. Lucille Ball
    4. Amy Polher
    5. Jane Krakowski
    6. Julia Louis Dreyfus
    7. Shelly Long

I have a feeling some will hate this list.

Megan Mullally for creating the most iconic character in history of television comedy.

If we talking about actresses, then Lucille Ball. I feel like someone is gonna say Jennifer Aniston, which is vomit-inducing.

But Karen Walker, Samantha Jones, Rochelle, Claire Huxtable, and Lois Wilkerson will always be my top five. Ugh, Tichina Arnold should’ve been had a couple of Emmys for Everybody Hates Chris, one of the most underrated comedy shows ever.

I’m not gona say her yet. But I think in many years, Tracee Ellis Ross will for sure be on this list. She oubviously isnt right now, but she has the potential to be.

Lucille Ball is a distant number one for me followed by Julia Louis Dreyfus. Trying to think of some that aren’t already named unless I missed these or someone posts them before I finish typing this out, how about Valerie Harper, Lisa Kudrow, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Roseanne Barr, and of course Laurie Metcalf who is just one of the greatest actresses of all time not just sitcom.

Oooh, I so agree with you about Metcalf. Don’t know how I forgot about her.

If anyone should have beaten JLD the last few years it was her.
