I would have given Cranston four in a row, even though I know some here don’t particularly like his third season tape.

Although I guess it wouldn’t count as consecutive years.

Considering the actual competition, I would pick Bryan Cranston (2008-2009), Claire Danes, Anna Gunn, Modern Family (2010-2012), and Julie Bowen.

Candice Bregen deserved every single one of her Emmy’s, I cannot however say the same thing for Helen Hunt or Patricia Heaton, who I think each stole a win from somebody else, namely, Calistia Flockhart and Debra Messing, respectively.

I would also say that Doris Roberts has a few too many wins, and at the expense of Kim Cattrall.

For those series which won at least three best-series Emmys:

The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Taxi.
