Jon Cryer’s 2012 win for 2 and a Half Men.

Jon Cryer’s supporting actor win in 2009 should’ve gone to Rainn Wilson, and his 2012 win should’ve gone to Louis CK.

Doris Roberts stole an Emmy from Kim Cattrall too.

Is there any other choice? Jim Parsons’ 2nd Emmy should have been Steve Carell’s.

While we’re at it, Tony Shalhoub’s 3rd probably should have been Carell’s, too. And Shalhoub’s 2nd could have gone to Jason Bateman.

Oh yeah forgot about Parsons’s second gong… Definitely that was Carell’s year.

What wa so special about Tony Shalhoub and his performance in Monk winning multiple Emmys anyway? I’m curious as I’ve never seen that show

I actually liked Cryer’s win last year. I’m probably one of life few people who thinks that he deserved the Emmy. His tape, “Frodo’s Headshots”, had that big, broad comedic performance that the Emmys love.

Nobody should be forced to give back their Emmy, but here’s one I bet nobody will mention:

Bryan Cranston’s 3rd Emmy should’ve went to Michael C. Hall.

He had the best submission last year, and I felt so sorry for his character in that episode, it was a great tape, however I just hate any Emmy being given to that show… He probably deserved his 2012 statuette more than his 2009 one.

No one in lead actor has a standout tape this year so I think this should definitely be CK’s year.

Agreed. In fact, Parsons should give both of his Emmys to Carell. I don’t want to live in a world where Parsons is considered a better comic actor than Carell.

Based on episodes I am aware of:

    – Jim Parsons 2nd win in 2011 should have gone to Steve Carrell
    – Blythe Danner 2nd win in 2006 should have gone to Sandra Oh
    – Patricia Heaton 2nd win should have gone to Jane Kazcmarek
    – Edie Falco 2nd win to Lorraine Bracco
    – Maggie Smith last year to Christina Hendricks
    – Jean Smart win in 2008 to Vanessa Williams
    – Candice Bergen 1990 win to Delta Burke
    – Helen Hunt win in 1999 to Calista Floickhart
    – Kathryn Joosten win in 2005 to Georgia Engel
    – Allison Janney win in 2002 to either Jennifer Garner or Frances Conroy

Based on wishful thinking as I don’t know what episodes were submitted and making things right with time to look back on it

    – Jane Curtain’s 2nd win in 1985 to Phylicia Rashad
    – Carol Kane’s supporting win for 1983…she appeared in the whole season of Taxi the 82-83 season….she only appeared in 1 episode in 1981-1982 of Taxi and won…IN LEAD!  Why go supporting the following year when you won in lead?  Easy, she didn’t want to go up against Shelley Long for Cheers.  Might have cost someone like Marla Gibbs an Emmy.
    – Couldn’t Angela Lansbury have won just one time instead of Tyne Daly winning 4 or Kathy Baker winning 3?
    – Kathy Baker in 1995 for Claire Danes
    – Dana Delany in 1992 for Regina Taylor
    – Michael Learned in 1982 for Veronica Hamel
    – Julia Duffy winning one of Rhea perlman’s 4 times
    – Faith Ford winning one of Laurie Metcalf’s 3 times
    – Kim Cattrall winning one of Doris Robert’s 4 times

Ricky Gervais is the one that really stole Steve Carell’s Emmy.

I can agree with that. The thing with Steve Carell is, everyone thinks he was robbed in 2011 when Parsons won. But people forget that he was robbed the previous years too. There is no way he didn’t deserve at least three Emmys for that role.

Jon Cryer, last year. What a disgrace.

    Here’s how I would’ve done it:

    2007 — Steve Carell
    2008 — Alec Baldwin
    2009 — Jim Parsons
    2010 — Jim Parsons
    2011 — Steve Carell
    2012 — Larry David
