Who should present the awards this year? Here are some of my ideas:

    Comedy Series: Larry David

    Drama Series: Ray Romano

Lead Comedy Actor: Ricky Gervais or Charlie Sheen

Lead Comedy Actress: Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow (especially if Cox is nominated)

    Lead Drama Actor: Bryan Cranston

Lead Drama Actress: Debra Messing and Martha Plimpton

    Supporting Comedy Actor: James Spader

    Supporting Comedy Actress: Christina Applegate

Supporting Drama Actor: Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart

Supporting Drama Actress: Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman

    Comedy Writing: The Desperate Housewives

Drama Writing: Joint presented with Supporting Drama Actress

    Comedy Directing: Steve Carell

Drama Directing: The winners of Drama Guest Actor and Actress

Comedy Guest Actor/Actress: Joint presented with Comedy Directing

    Drama Guest Actor/Actress: Kate Winslet

Reality-Competition Series: Children from Modern Family

Reality-Competition Host: Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon (especially if Daly is nominated)

Variety Series: Julianna Margulies and Kyra Sedgwick

    Variety Writing: Tina Fey

I would be surprised if the academy didn’t invite Bryan Cranston to present Lead Actor Drama. Would be nice to see the children of Modern Family present. I am thinking that Betty White will present something, Lead Actress Comedy maybe. Don’t think that all of the housewives will get invitations but who knows. I also think that even though Jane Lynch is hosting that someone or several people from Glee will present. Most likely to be Cory Monteith or Matthew Morrison. I also think that Alec Baldwin will be invited to present something.

Whoops. I meant to write “Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin” for Variety Writing.

Yeah Bryan Cranston will probably present ala Kiefer Sutherland three years ago when 24 was ineligible.

Lisa Kudrow and Tina Fey for comedy directing. That could be awesome.

Ed O’Neill and Katey Sagal need to present together, ESPECIALLY if both receive their first career nominations this year.

I’d like to see Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton present together. I was hoping they’d do it last year, but alas…
