Who will host the 2015 Emmy Awards on Fox? Vote in our new poll (click link) and discuss in this thread.March 6, 2015 at 1:16 pm #342833
I would be very happy with Crystal, Samberg, C.K. or Kaling. It would also be cool if two hosted in tandem. Samberg and Kaling would be an interesting pairing, albeit unorthodox. Anybody but Seth MacFarlane.

Samberg seems like the obvious choice and probably who they’ll go with. It would definitely be cool if they went with Crystal though. His tribute to Robin Williams last year was perfect and he could bring a level of class and legitimacy to the proceedings.March 6, 2015 at 2:42 pm #342835
Billy Crystal is the obvious pick. Don’t be stupid FOX.March 6, 2015 at 3:30 pm #342836
Why not Will Forte? He is got a new show on FOX and if they announced him as the host they’d help him get a nominationMarch 6, 2015 at 4:19 pm #342837
Ezekiel H. Quartermaine
Either that or BobMarch 6, 2015 at 4:23 pm #342838
Some discussion has been made so far in the Polls section. I still think Andy Samberg is the best choice and most viable choice being a comedic actor, singer, variety past, hosting past (Indie Spirit Awards), and lots of industry friends in TV to help out with skits and gags.March 6, 2015 at 4:30 pm #342839
“Biscuits,” the lead single for Kacey Musgrave’s next album, is AMAZING. Such a perfect, punchy country tune for spring.
It has a similar tone to “Follow Your Arrow”… “mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy”March 6, 2015 at 5:21 pm #342840

Unless his show is an absolute bomb and does terribly. I can’t imagine Fox would want to trot out someone as host who just came off of a major flop. Maybe it is just me, but I do not know if Billy Crystal is really a hot property when it comes to hosting award shows anymore. Especially the Emmy awards, whose hosts have been skewing on the younger side for the better part of a decade now.
My vote is Andy Sambeg. I love Mindy Kaling, but I have a hard time picturing her hosting a three hour plus awards show.March 6, 2015 at 5:22 pm #342841

I think Seth McFarlane is the best choice. I just do.March 6, 2015 at 7:43 pm #342843
It seems inevitable that it will be Samberg but I would love for Mindy to be involved in a big way. Just to test her live performance skills to see if she could host in the future.March 6, 2015 at 7:47 pm #342844
Samberg or bust.
But I do like the idea of no host and instead a rotating fields of comedians doing “segments” during the telecast.March 7, 2015 at 4:54 am #342845
Whoever the host is, I’m glad that Fox is going to produce this years show
They always make great tapes for each nominees and not just read their names like other networks(eww NBC)
