Who won 2 acting Emmys in same year?
Who won Oscar & Emmy in same calendar year? Other than Helen Mirren and Helen Hunt, that is. Not Holly Hunter. Hers were one year apart.

Cloris Leachman won 2 emmys in 1975. 1 for single performance by a supporting actress in a comedy or drama series – “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and the other for supporting actress in variety – for an episode of “Cher.”
Colleen Dewhurst won 2 emmys in 1989. 1 for supp actress in minisseries or special for “Those She Left Behind” and the other for guest actress in a comedy series for “Murphy Brown.”
I personally don’t count all the double wins in 1974. Cicely Tyson, Mary Tyler Moore, Alan Alda, etc. The super emmys, as someone coined them, were so stupid.August 18, 2014 at 10:06 pm #327734
