Really simple question. Can Parsons win again. Or can CK, Gervais, Or Macy sneak in?July 10, 2014 at 5:33 pm #322588
I guess the poll is not working. I’ve been noticing today.July 10, 2014 at 5:46 pm #322589
This category is quite a mess this year, so what the hell, I’ll go LeBlanc. Every single year Episodes manages to get a few big nominations, and it has not won anything so far. I do not see Parsons winning a fourth for a weak season with no big submission possibilities like he had in other years. C.K., as much as I want him to win this, is probably never going to. Cheadle’s submissions have all been underwhelming and felt purely driven by the fact he is a movie star, and nothing about that seems to have changed this year if I’m to believe the word on the internet. Gervais could spoil I guess, but I think he got his nomination based on name alone and that some voters will be turned off by his show’s theme. And voters haven’t really shown much love to Shameless in the past, so I don’t think Macy will win.July 10, 2014 at 8:48 pm #322590
LeBlanc or Louie, I don’t see anyone else winning.July 10, 2014 at 9:07 pm #322591
It ultimately comes down to whether or not he has a good submission. If he submits something like “The Thanksgiving Recoupling” or “The Indecision Amalgamation” then I could see him totally winning. It would be nice to see someone else get it for a change, but I am a huge Big Bang Theory fan and Jim Parsons fan so I could go either way. If he wins, great for him! If he loses, better luck next year.

What about William H. Macy? Does he have a submission where he gets to be drunk and loud while not too dramatic?July 11, 2014 at 1:00 am #322593
If voters actually watch LeBlanc in the episode where he has a speech about British actors stealing American parts, he should and will win.July 11, 2014 at 2:41 am #322594
I am predicting another surprise win for Ricky Gervais “Derek” is a very sweet show and that is because of his performance he tugs at your heartstrings in the episode where the dog diedJuly 11, 2014 at 3:35 am #322595
No way, this has to be Louie’s year.July 11, 2014 at 4:10 am #322596
Hell no.July 11, 2014 at 4:21 am #322597
Yeah, Parsons can win again fairly easily.July 11, 2014 at 4:28 am #322598
If Parsons submits a drunk episode (Thanksgiving Decoupling) he can win but if he doesn’t I don’t think he is gonna win. And now there is William H. Macy and Ricky Gervais who can actually upset. The trophy is between Parsons, Macy and Gervais. The others, I don’t think they have a chance at all.Marcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantJuly 11, 2014 at 5:09 am #322599
It all depends on what episodes these nominees submit. If Parsons submits a drunk episode again, they he’ll win his 4TH Emmy! If he doesn’t, though, he might not win.July 11, 2014 at 7:04 am #322600
At this point anyone except Cheadle can win, but right now I’m going with CK.
