After being snubbed for the last two years could Mad Men be nominated again? And could Jon Hamm be nominated again after being snubbed last year?

I personally don’t think the show will get nominated this year, maybe next year for the second part of its final season it could make a return. But with Cranston’s spot open, I think Hamm could return.

I don’t even think it will get back in for the second half of the last season. The Globes are consistently inclined to reward new things or cool things. Mad Men probably seems like such old news to them.

Once the Globes drop you, they drop you, even more so than the emmys as they are constantly shifting their nominees for new and buzzier shows. Its also extremely hard for a show to mantain their nominations for so long here. Not even big shows like the sopranos or west wing to name a couple could stay there till the end.

Same goes for actor. The only reason he´d be back with the shows age is if he hadn´t been snubbed last year. He was and he´s done.

You both make good points. But I still think Hamm could make it in next year

    This is a weird thread.

Why would Hamm come back when four of the five nominees in his category this year were from new shows?  They love new shows!  Hamm was also not the only one that they dropped last year.  Steve Buscemi and Jeff Daniels will sooner come back with their final seasons airing this fall.

Mad Men was last nominated for 2010.  They will have a hard enough time coming back with a set of acclaimed final episodes next year.

Amen. Also, there are too many new shows about to air……it will be a bloodbath as to who the Globe voters will embrace. I doubt they will be throwing symphathetic votes to old shows, while new shows are lining up..
