YES to the Homeland wins (though I would have preferred it if Breaking Bad had taken series), YES to the Sherlock wins! I’m just sad Bryan Cranston didn’t win for Best Actor. Kelsey Grammer was great, but he’s nothing compared to Cranston. Why was Julia Louis Dreyfus snubbbed for Best Comedy Actress? How didn’t Claire Danes win Best Drama Actress. Emmy Rossum? Really?

YES to Happy Endings winning Comedy Series! And Sherlock! And Homeland! And Jane Krakowski!

Overall, great winners/nominees. I wish the Emmys were like this.

Why was Julia Louis Dreyfus snubbbed for Best Comedy Actress?

Dreyfus actually barely registered on the nomination ballots, even some low-flying contenders accumulated more votes than her. Interestingly enough, the only nomination that Veep received was for Outstanding Comedy Series.

That’s a real shame… sorry, Julia, you totally deserved it…

I’m glad Benedict Cumberbatch and Ben Whishaw both managed to win even though Whishaw is lead not supporting

Whishaw received votes in both categories but received more in supporting.

Do the people who voted for him in Supporting even watch The Hour?  He’s more of a lead than Dominic West is.  Despite that I’m glad he got recognition from somewhere (since he’s not getting it from the Emmys most likely).
