Chris Colfer’s nods for GLEE.  Look, I’m a gay man and I’m all for positive and real depcitions of homosexuals in the media…but Colfer’s acting abilities are mediorce at best.  His singing, IMO, is quite bland too.

I’m so mad at the academy for Burstyn’s nomination in MRS. HARRIS!!!  Why? Because she is one of my absolute favorite actors ever and this non participation by the academy members in their voting is actually of note on her resume.  It shouldn’t be.

The most frustrating part of Burstyn’s nomination was the beating her reputation took as though she was the one responsible for that fifteen second nomination.. It wasn’t for a good while after that people started to blame the Academy and not her.

Amy Poehler for Parks and Recreations.

You’re trying to say that Amy Poehler’s nominations is worse than the Two and a Half Men guys and girls, the non-Jane Lynch actors of Glee, Ellen Burstyn’s meaningless nomination and Holly Hunter’s wasted slots for Saving Grace?

    Okay. Whatever you say.

I’m going to interpret that Amy Poehler comment as you thinking the thread was “Worst Emmy Snubs”. But she did get nominated for every good season, didn’t she (not sure about season 2) ?

Anyway, I’d say Michael C. Hall this year. I know it’s blasphemy, but it wasn’t just the writing that was awful in season 6.
I don’t really think it’s the worst emmy nomination though, just the one that I thought of first.

Margaret Cho for 30 Rock.  I like Margaret Cho, but she had veryyyyyyy litle screentime on 30 Rock and it is upsetting that she was nominated and Sherri Sheperd has never been nominated for her Queen Of Jordan appearances especially in 2011.
