What was your least favorite Emmy win of the night. Here are mine:

    Jim Parsons
    Martin Freeman
    Modern Family
    Alison Janney
Aaron Paul (I can’t believe I just wrote that but Charles should have won)
Ty Burrell (Even though he is the best part of MF)
    Benedict Cumberlatch

    Whats yours?

Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.

Too many bad winners to list, but nothing is worse than Modern Family winning a fifth Emmy in a row (or Julie Bowen dramatically faking heart palpitations in the background like they never saw the win coming…)

I can’t believe that I live in a world where Modern Family won five years in a row and where Robin Williams is no longer alive…

This is probably the first sign of the apocalypse.

    All of ’em?

The death of the comedy genre for one.

Kathy Bates was great in American Horror Story but in my opinion Alison Tolman should have won for Fargo.  I really thought there was no way she would lose.

Martin Freeman (if he had to win an Emmy it should’ve been for Fargo)

Everything!! But if I had to say something it would be Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates considering their competition. Obviously, voters did not finish the season, otherwise they wouldn’t have voted for them.

    Ty Burrell

    Martin Freeman in TV Movie/Mini-Series

I love Ty Burrell and find him almost always funny on Modern Family, but this really should have gone to his co-star Ferguson.  Burrell had his weakest season to date and I do not know how they could watch both submissions from Modern Family and not give it to Ferguson.

Martin Freeman was strong in Sherlock, but this should have gone to Matt Bomer hands down.  I thought his performance was a revelation and one of the strongest of the year without a doubt.  I had a bad feeling he was going to lose, and sadly I was correct.  Him losing will probably sting for years to come.

I’m not a crazy obsessed Lange/AHS fan-person, like other people here, but Lange and Bates winning didn’t seem surprising. If voters only sampled the beginning of “Coven,” that’s where Bates and Lange both did their best work of the season. I was personally rooting for Conroy, but the supporting actress mini category was one of the most exciting of the night for me.

Parsons and Paul were questionable but the injustices are dwarfed by MODERN FAMILY winning Best Comedy yet again.

Lange was great but I was really rooting for Minnie Driver and Kristen Wiig because they were amazing and they haven’t won before. Frances Conroy would have been awesome!

Gotta be Martin Freeman beating Matt Bomer. I love Martin Freeman but I am utterly floored that he lost for that role. It’s crushing. Not that he was playing for an Emmy but for him to lose all the weight and put everything into his performance and to not win, it stung. He looked a little disappointed too.

I will bitch about Modern Family forever. My eyes still bleed.
