What, in your opinion, is the worst show to ever receive a nomination, or win, in a major Emmy category. (Major referring to the ”Big 7”, series, writing, directing, and the lead/support acting categories).
Off the top of my head, without really researching…

I know it’s easy to beat up on Two and a Half Men, but it really has always been and will always be bad.Marcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantAugust 13, 2013 at 7:24 pm #294331

OK, Boston Legal was a very good show. However, it was pretty overrated, especially in terms of the award recognition it received.August 13, 2013 at 7:34 pm #294336
Out of Practice was a really shity show, even if it had a great cast. Stockard Channing’s nomination was a waste.
Two and a Half Men for sure.
I’m ok with Glee getting their first season nominations. Other than that the only other major nomination was Lynch this year and it’s not the worst nomination ever.August 13, 2013 at 10:35 pm #294339
I don’t think we’re complaining about “individual performances”, right? I think we’re just listing overall bad shows that – in one instance or another – got a nomination in one of the Big 7 categories. Like if I were to say Big Bang Theory, it wouldn’t mean that I was necessarily against Jim Parsons’ nomination. Or is that not right?
Otherwise, I don’t see how anyone could be against Sally Field’s individual nomination (and win, for that matter). She was excellent during that first season.
