I am working on some new photo galleries and other TV-related articles right now reflecting back on this past season.

    VERY TIME SENSITIVE!
MUST BE COMPLETED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS!
YOUR HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Please think back through your favorite dramas, comedies, movies, miniseries, reality, variety, etc. from 2012-13. Not just critical programs that are Emmy nominees but popular shows as well.

Provide your top answers to the following questions. I really need specifics as well as the show names, episode titles, details, even the portion of the episode that is featured (beginnning, middle, end). Use our normal timeframe of June 2012 through May 2013.

There are other topics I will ask about, but let’s discuss love and romance in this thread. Answer as many or as few of these as you want. Provide a bunch of answers or one per question.

    1. Best “I love you” moment of the year.

    2. Best break-up scene of the year.

    3. Steamiest romantic scene of the year.

    4. Best face slap of the year.

    5. Happiest moment of the year (couple).

    6. Saddest moment of the year (couple).

    7. Most surprising revelation of the year (romantic/couples).

    8. Best lines of dialogue (romantic/couples/love).

    1. Best “I love you” of the year

    • On “30 Rock”, Liz and Jack’s “I love you” is not exactly romantic, their relationship was platonic, but I thought it was very sweet.

    Episode: Last Lunch (7×13)
    (end of the episode)

    • On “Homeland”, Carrie’s “I loved you” can be count, right?

    Episode: Q&A (2×04)
(middle of the episode I think)

    • On “Parks and Recreation”, Ben and Leslie’s “I love you and I like you”

    Episode: Ben and Leslie (5×15)
    (final 5 minutes)

    5. Happiest moment of the year (couple).

    • On “Parks and Recreation”, Ben proposing to Leslie

    Episode: Halloween Surprise (5×05)
    (end of the episode)

    7. Most surprising revelation of the year (romantic/couples).

    • On “How I Met Your Mother”, the revelation of who the mother is

    Episode: Something New (8×24)
    (end of the episode)

Best ‘I love you moment’: The Office, episode 9.22/33 “A.A.R.M” – Jim
shows Pam a DVD, made by the crew, of their relationship to show why he
loves, topped of with the note from the teapot from the yankee swap
christmas many years earlier, saying why he loves her.

    Best Break
up scene of the year: Bates Motel, episode 1.7 “The Man in Number 9” –
Bradley breaks up with Norman in the most unfortunate of circumstances
    for him

    Steamiest
Romantic Scene of the year: Homeland, episode 2.9 “Two Hats” – Jessica
and Mike sleep together again, and many a boob of Morena Baccarin was
    seen.

Best face slap of the year: Breaking Bad, episode 5.4
“Fifty One” – Just the notion of talking of Walt and Skyler in a thread
of romance is so odd, given that the her wishing his cancer to come back
was the most shocking thing I’ve seen for a TV couple in time

Happiest Moment of the year: New Girl, episode 2:15 “Cooler” – Nick and Jess finally kiss.

    Saddest
Moment of the year: The Mindy Project, episode 1.24 “Take me with you” –
Probably not the saddest of the year, but at least in my TV viewing
world it is! Danny, telling Mindy he broke it off again with his ex-wife
Christina, in hope of something between himself and Mindy, is
dissapointed to find out she’s still seeing Casey.

    Most
Surpising revelation of the year: The Good Wife, episode 4.20 “Rape. A
Modern Perspective” – Diane and Kurt actually are going to get married,
revealed whilst she’s being vetted for the supreme court job

    Best
lines of dialogue: House Of Cards, episdoe 1.1 “Chapter 1” – Francis
Underwood “I love that woman, I love her more than sharks love blood”
(and they say romance is dead).

    HONORABLE MENTION
    A
relationship that lead to an outcry, that defied the characters and
creeped the audiences, but sure went out with a bang, I can only be
talking about Kalinda Sharma and Nick Savarese on The Good Wife, they
could probably find a place in all 8 categories with the amount of crazy
they went through, but the craziest moment of all:

Make of that what you will…

Hopefully I’m not too late!  Some of my favourites:

    1. Best “I love you” moment of the year.
Rayna on Deacon’s doorstep at the end of episode 1.18 of  Nashville – “I love you…that’s just never not been true.”

    5. Happiest moment of the year (couple).
    Ben & Leslie’s wedding – “Leslie & Ben” of  Parks & Recreation

    8. Best lines of dialogue (romantic/couples/love).
Deacon to Rayna in episode 1.19 of  Nashville – “You and me got so much damn water under our bridge, sometimes it’s like we’re drowning in it. Well, to hell with all that. What matters is you, and me. Right here, right now.  Hey, listen to me — you can tell me everything, or you can tell me nothing at all.  You can’t tell me you don’t love me, ’cause that’s the one thing I’ll never believe.”

Jim to Pam in “A.A.R.M” of The Office “Not enough for me? You are everything.”
