    Drama Lead Actor

Kyle Chandler, Bloodline: “Part 23” (RU: “Part 20”)

    Drama Supporting Actor

Peter Dinklage, Game of Thrones: “Home” (RU: “Book of the Stranger”)

Kit Harington, Game of Thrones: “Battle of the Bastards” (RU: “Oathbreaker”)

Ben Mendelsohn, Bloodline: Don’t know. He is in so little of every episode this year that he could pick any episode and it wouldn’t make much of a difference. He really belongs in Drama Guest Actor, rules be damned.

    Drama Supporting Actress

Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones: “Book of the Stranger” (RU: “The Winds of Winter”)

Lena Headey, Game of Thrones: “The Winds of Winter” (RU: “No One”)

Maisie Williams, Game of Thrones: “No One” (RU: “Blood of My Blood”)

Taraji better not touch “Past is Prologue”. Her options are between “Rise By Sin” & “Poor Yorick”

Keri Russell should choose “The Magic of David Copperfield V:The Statue of Liberty Disappears”. I’ve read somewhere the scene between Paige and her was her favorite so it seems possible.

You’re right. Keri should definitely submit “The Magic of David Copperfield V:The Statue of Liberty Disappears”.

Also, even in her Goldderby chat, Viola says, she loved “Anna Mae”. But she’s pretty sure she’s leaning towards “There’s My Baby” or “What Did We Do?”. Either makes a very smart choice for her.

Niecy Nash has three baity tapes this year, but she should submit either the vomit episode or the one where she’s fighting with her family and sings My Pony at the end.

Laurie Metcalf can submit anything, but that symposium stuff was undeniably hilarious.

Keri Rusell – definitely The Magic of David Copperfield

Matthew Rhys – um, he didn’t have any episode to shine, but The Rat is good for submission.

Been trying to come up with two for Janney, but it’s nearly impossible. More than half the season is made up of winning submissions for her. Help?

    Julia Louis-Dreyfus- Mother” or “Inauguration”

Hers gotta be Mother, obviously. My #2 would be Congressional Ball or Camp David.

Anna Chlumsky has to submit, “C**tgate,” right?

It’s the one episode I can remember this season where Amy has a plot of her own (running the internal investigation of who used the titular word to describe Selina), plus she has that fantastic scene opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the Oval Office in the middle of the night. Does anybody else have a better idea for her?

From the Comedy Lead Actor category, I think Thomas Middleditch really should pick the episode “Bachmanity Insanity”, also known as the tabs v. spaces episode. He has more dramatic episodes which shows off more of his range, but I think that episode is the funniest he’s been, is the best showcase for his type of humour, and is probably the only episode where context isn’t important, as Silicon Valley often has very large arks. Also in that category, Jeffrey Tambor has to pick “Man on the Land”, and I’d quite like Aziz Ansari to pick either “Nashville”, because it’s really sweet, or the finale, as it shows more range. Just please not “Parents” or “Mornings”, which he mentioned considering in his GoldDerby interview, as he gets massively outshone. Will Forte should also consider an episode from the first half of the season of The Last Man on Earth, and should pick either “Dead Man Walking” or “C to the T”.

Viola Davis – There’s my baby (or What Did We Do? or Anna Mae – my personal pick would be What Did We Do?, but she nailed in every single episode, so it’s a hard decision)

Robin Wright – Chapter 49 (her best episode – that speech, that speech, and the scene when her mother dies – if tapes matter, she can win with this)

Claire Danes – Super Powers (I like how the writers used the “Carry Crazy” card. But in Why is The Night Different? we have this scene when Carrie records a video for her daughter and this is so heartbreaking.)

Kevin Spacey – I don’t know, maybe Chapter 52 (Netflix will probably choose Chapter 49 for him and for Wright.)

Jeffrey Tambor – Man on The Land (a masterpierce)

Julia Louis-Dreyfuss – Mother (or Inauguration or Camp David)

Tony Hale – he did not have material this season. His only good option is Inauguration. He does not deserve to win for this, but he will probably win. 🙁

Judith Light – Flicky-Flicky Thump-Thump (comedy side) or The Book of Life (a more dramatic episode, right?)

Gaby Hoffmann – I don’t no. Maybe New World Coming?

Ellie Kemper – Any of the 3 Tina Fey guest episodes. Meets a Drunk Lady’s probably the best choice.
Titus Burgess – First date with Mikey (Kidnaps Gretchen) or when Mikey comes out (Goes To Her Happy Place). Leaning towards the latter.
