Anybody else checking Season 2 of this little gem from FX?

One of the best shows out right now.  And my favourite new show from the past year. Season 1 was all kinds of fabulous. The writing, the cast involved. Desmin Borges is quickly becoming my “under the radar” favourite actor on Television. And Aya Cash is a huge revellation. Love her

Ridiculously funny, and so edgy. So real.

Hopefully the show will get a broader viewer base this time around. And gets the awards rolling in.

I have already seen both season 2 episodes that are out yet, and both have been extraordinary. Totally worth checking out!

that second episode is an outstanding tape for Aya Cash if she manages to get that deserved nomination.

Aya Cash is brilliant, and is much better than many of the lead comedy actresses that get nominated year in year out. Same goes for Chris Greere. They both should have been nominated this year, and should be nominated next year too.

Also, shout out to Kether Donohue, her character is just bonkers, but she nails it.

Oh yes I love Kether Donohue too! She really steals the show. The Critics rewarded this show last year with nominations it would be nice if they put in some actors

The first two episodes of this season have both been fantastic – Was most impressed by Chris Geere over the past two weeks and would love to see more attention on this show and his performance (along with Cash’s).

    “The Sweater People” – B+
    “Crevasses” – A-

LOVED Season 1. Season 2 is off to a great start as well (I’ve only seen the first episode though) – there’s just something so refreshing and reinvigorating about this show! <3

This show was one of my favorite hidden gems last year and I’m thrilled that it is back. I’d like to see it have a sizable run, even though the ratings are just kind of okay. Hopefully, the critics support keeps it alive. Chris Geere, Aya Cash, Kether Donohue and Desmin Borges are all great in these roles, and the writing is just awesome. I love love love this show and these characters, and I hope it finds some more success this season because it is off to a great start.

If you haven’t been keeping up with this season, you’re missing out on one of the best comedies currently on the air. Last week’s episode might have been one of their best episodes ever, and Aya Cash delivers one hell of a performance that should easily be getting her some Emmy buzz. The show is just as smart and winning as before, and I hope people aren’t forgetting about it.

Aya Cash has always been excellent, but she has been phenomenal this season. It’s a shame she won’t ever win an Emmy for this role. But whatever; the Emmys can keep rubberstamping their overrated faves, THIS is the kind of funny, nuanced complex performance that really deserves accolades.

I think this show has a real good shot to increase in noms at the Critic’s Choice especially with the smaller field. Aya Cash was wonderful that last episode.
