Something happened to this thread yesterday when I tried to update it, so here’s a second try. Shows for the 2016-17 season that have announced start dates and a theater:

    Paramour
    Lyric
    Opens 5/25/16
Cirque du Soleil’s first Broadway venture

    Act of God
    Booth
    Opens 6/6/16
Sean Hayes steps into the role Jim Parsons did last summer

    Motown the Musical
    Nederlander
    Previews begin 7/12/16; opening TBD
    Return engagement

    Cats
    Neil Simon
    Opens 8/2/16
In case you missed it or weren’t born the first 18 years it played

    Holiday Inn
    Studio 54
    Opens 10/13/16
    Roundabout production

    Heisenberg
    Samuel J. Friedman
    Opens 10/13/16
MTC pics same opening date as Roundabout production

    The Cherry Orchard
    American Airlines
    Opens 10/16/16
    Busy October for Roundabout

    Falsettos
    Walter Kerr
    Opens 10/27/16
Great cast in this revival, including Christian Borle (if he doesn’t drop out due to his Charlie commitment in the spring), Andrew Rannells and Stephanie J. Block. And they better include “I’m Breaking Down” on the cast recording this time.

    Les Liaisons Dangereuses
    Booth
    Opens 10/30/16
Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber in the fancy-dress French soap opera

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812
    Imperial
    Opens 11/14/16
    Josh Groban debuts on Broadway

    Hello, Dolly!
    Shubert
    Opens 4/20/17
The Divine Miss M and Niles Crane co-star in the 1964 blockbuster. Supposedly Bette will have a limited performance schedule (5-6 shows a week). Wonder who will be her alternate and how many thousands of dollars each ticket will cost?

Among shows planning to come in this season, but so far missing an opening date and/or a theater: The Front Page (great cast), Anastasia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Several other things are planned for the season, but so far are speculative as to time period even though some big names are attached.
