So I’ve decided to try a little Fantasy Tony Awards to decide how the Tony’s would’ve gone if Hamilton wasn’t there. They probably would’ve stuck to the normal four nominations for Best Musical, so there wouldn’t be any additional nominees. But we need two additional Best Leading Actor nominees. Post your nomination, and I’ll take the first 24 nominations (since that’s how many Tony voters there are), and nominate the two most-nominated actors.

    The current nominees:

    – Alex Brightman
    – Danny Burstein
    – Zachary Levi

We all know who’s eligible. Nominate anyone who isn’t in Hamilton and isn’t listed above. And just for the hell of it, I’ll accept Tuck Everlasting nominees.

I’m looking for nominees who aren’t listed. Though if it weren’t for Leslie Odom Jr., Danny definitely would’ve won.

I absolutely agree! I also think if Leslie was in Featured (because let’s face it, his role was really more a part of an ensemble), Danny Burstein would’ve won a little more easily.

One has to wonder what his next Broadway show will be. I wonder if Bartlett Sher has him in mind for a role in To Kill a Mockingbird…
