The pre-Broadway touring production with Deborah Cox and Constantine kicks off tonight in California. It will hit Broadway in April of 2013 after the tour wraps up.
Previews begin Friday the 5th. Opening night is the 18th. It’s finally here (NYC)!
How are the reviews? It would be interesting to see Deborah Cox get a Tony nod before a Grammy nomination.
Reviews wont come out til the show officially opens, after the previews finish. Word of mouth from other cities isnt great though…which is on par for most Wildhorn musicals as of late.
Has anyone else heard that Confrontation is sung with a backing track? Isnt the whole point of that number seeing the actor switch between personas? Having Hyde be pre-recorded sounds lame to me, but we will see what they do with it.
