And people, seriously, the surprising Arcade Fire snub in Alternative Album isn't a norm or a trend or anything, it's a freak occurance that happened in very specific scenario.

"The King Of Limbs" doesn't have the impact, quality or popularity of either last year's winner (The Black Keys) or of the frontrunner here (Bon Iver). 

It feels like people are just predicting Radiohead for them being Radiohead and ignoring the factors that are holding them back from winning this time, which are more than just that Bon Iver is the favorite. And this comes from someone who has been listening to Radiohead all his life... 

I think Radiohead is still possible.  Bon Iver is only the frontrunner because of their 3 unexpected nominations in the General Field.  

Neither album is nominated for Album of the Year.  Both artists have 4 nominations this year.

Something Radiohead's "The King Of Limbs" has in common with The Black Keys' "Brothers" -  Both albums were nominated for Best Recording Package.  "Brothers" won that category last year.  I know this sounds silly but it is noteworthy.

I believe it wasn't submitted to any genre. If I recall correctly Perth was submitted to Rock and Beth/Rest to Pop
