Often times, ROTY and SOTY go hand-in-hand. Katy Perry is in last place here. Next to last is Bruno Mars. Mumford & Sons would be in third place. Bon Iver is runner-up. And in first place is Adele. She has the biggest selling single of the year. Her song is just the kind of song voters will cream their pants over. SHOULD WIN: Adele, "Rolling In The Deep" WILL WIN: Adele, "Rolling In The Deep" |

This is Adele's. Bon Iver and Mumford and Sons come close, as rock regularly wins in this field, but their chances are slim. Bruno Mars has an outside chance, I guess, but it's very unlikely still. Katy should consider herself lucky that she's even here.
Here's my signature... just so I have it. That way, I have it. I promise. It's just to have it.

"Rolling in the Deep" is the Record of the Year, IMO. No matter where you went, you heard the song in various versions. Its production and vocals are impeccable. It's very Grammy-friendly and it appeals to multiple audiences, as seen by its success on various charts. Therefore, I think it will win here. "Holocene" and "The Cave" will be drawing from similar blocs, and "Grenade" and "Firework" just don't feel like the type of tracks that wins this category. I'd be very surprised at another outcome. |

should be Firework, but it won't be.
