Corrections - An Evening With Patti and Mandy and Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway are not eligible for Best Musical, nor is Shatner's World for Best Play - they all would have contended in the Special Event category had it still existed. I'm almost positive that that also means that LuPone, Patinkin, Jackman and Shatner won't be eligible in the acting categories either. |

Angela Lansbury at the very least should be considered to be a contender for the best featured actress in a play for The Best Man.

Thanks, 24Emmy. PianoMann, all 3 are listed on the Tony Awards' website under the list of eligible shows that opened this season. Will, thanks for pointing that out.

The committee has not yet ruled on any of those shows yet, so it's very likely they won't be eligible, just like Kathy Griffin's show wasn't eligible last season. |

I'm pretty sure I read that the Hugh Jackman show did not provide any tickets to Tony voters and therefore has effectively withdrawn from competing for anything.

Doesn't Rachel Griffiths have even a shot in featured actress in a play for Other Desert Citiies? |

^^According to the Tony website, Light and Sadosky are the only ones listed as eligible for the Featured categories in ODC, which I take to mean Griffiths is considered Lead. It would be an appropriate placement, since her character is the catalyst throughout.
