Just heard that "Express Yourself"/"Born This Way"/"She's Not Me" mash-up. Madonna's a shady bitch. Love it.

'Turn Up the Radio' is confirmed as the 3rd single off MDNA, and this is the official single cover:

"Turn Up the Radio" video is out and it's pretty good. Her best third single video since "WIFLFAG" in the "Music" era. Let's hope this song can turn at least into a minor hit. It's great for the summer and radio and with the MDNA Tour US Leg starting in a few weeks it has a VERY small chance. |

"Turn Up The Radio" is her best shot at a hit from the album, but let's be real, the album is dead in the water. |

I like the video, and the song really grew on me. I think it could've done moderately well had it been the first or second single, and promo was attached. |

The video is average at best. She looks good, her back up dancers look good, and her boyfriend is really cute. Unfortunately, the song had potential to be a moderate hit ages ago. It's pretty sad how after the superbowl, they sat on this record and depended on that event to be the sole promotional effort for MDNA. It's embarrassing to think that with those great opening first week sales that the album couldn't even pass 500,000. All she can really do is focus on finishing the tour (which I will be seeing in two months) because she can't even promote MDNA or TUTR with all those upcoming dates. Sad.

Honey, why would her label waste money and time on another single? MDNA is beyond dead and I doubt "Turn Up The Radio" will be a hit or do anything to increase album sales. |

I really don't get how this happened again. It's the same useless pattern they did for Hard Candy. At this point she shouldn't even be releasing new music if she's going to treat it like this. It's true, the Superbowl thing happened and then nothing else, she just jumped right into tour and forgot she even released an album. It's as if she's like the rest of us. She gets excited because she has a new album like we all do, then she tries hard to like it like we all do, and just like us, after a few weeks she goes "this sucks, I don't care for it anymore". Just tour every three years and don't even bother with new music anymore, people will still go. As if those shows are sold out because of Give Me All Your "Luvin". |

They obviously waited too long, released the wrong singles, etc., but I think it's preposterous to suggest that continuing to release singles and videos is a waste of time and money. Do you have any clue how many hits happened because the record label decided to try one last push? Yes, the likelihood of that happening with Madonna in 2012 is very slim, but what would we all be saying if they hadn't released anymore singles? Fans would be bitching and moaning that Interscope is worse than Warner Bros., conspiracy theories would start popping up that they tried to sabotage her career, and everyone would be talking about what a huge debacle the project was. Not to mention, it's fucking Madonna. Of course Interscope is going to promote the album to the bare minimum, which, let's face it, is what they're doing. The song is going to do great in the clubs, sell a ton of vinyl, and probably do decent in Europe, where she's touring right now. This is clearly not designed solely or primarily for the U.S. pop charts. That ship has sailed. I, for one, am impressed with the quality of this video given that the last two albums gave us videos like "Get Together," "Jump", and "Miles Away." This is easily the best video she's filmed while on tour. She looks AMAZING, and the Felini references are classic Madonna. And despite your attempt to speak for "us," Benito, I think MDNA is a very strong album. The first two singles sucked, but I like almost every other song. And I was one of the most skeptical fans about this project. It's clear Madonna believes in the album - the videos have been her most inspired in years and she's obviously have a great time with the material. |

Obviously when I speak of "us", I mean those of "us" who after a few weeks said "this sucks I don't care for it anymore". If you're not one of "us" then that's ok, it's your opinion, whatever. It's very clear I wasn't attempting to include every Madonna fan in the world in that sentence. |

Nice try, but seriously?
The fact is that most Madonna fans I know and have chatted with on various boards think this album is one of her best in years. I'm not necessarily among them, but I do think it's a step up from the last album and I'm surprised that I'm still spinning it today and still enjoying it quite a bit. It's the squandered potential fans are most upset about. |

TUTR isn’t a song I go back to but I’m still listening to about half the tracks on the album. It would have been better suited as the third single off her Bedtime Stories or Music album. Then it probably would have been a top 10 hit. |

"Turn Up the Radio" isn't a particularly great song or a great video, but it is solid in both regards and I can't help but wonder what would have happened to this era if she released this instead of the awful "Gimme All Ur Lovin'" when she had the world's attention (during the Super Bowl and the announcement of her new album and world tour). |

I rank MDNA 5th on her best albums list and I'm still waiting to see the MDNA Tour live but from videos and photos it looks excellent and one of her best ones yet. This album has suffered mainly from bad single choices and TERRIBLE promotion (outside the Superbowl). The music and tour are solid, but it has become clear that they don't know how to manage a 54 years old pop star with a 30 years old career as the Queen of Pop. What other pop star has this kind of longevity and consistency? |

MDNA crosses the half-million mark and earns a 106% sales increase..so technically she's GOLD?
