Okay I can understand why this doesn't particularly deserve to be a thread since she hasn't put anything out in 50 years.

A poster said shes prepping a single out with Timbaland, but who believes that? Thats been being said for years now.But lets keep our fingers crossed that we get some news soon.

"Nobodys Perfect" is blowing up on Urban.

Anyways I've been listening to Under Construction & Miss E, and my God those albums are masterpieces.

I love Missy. LOVE her. Even 'The Cookbook', her weakest in my opinion, is better than a lot of other rap albums out there right now, and it had some real bangers on there (I love "Lose Control" and "On and On" especially). I want so badly for Missy to drop a new album with some true FIRE on it. I hope she finally does.

Anyways her and Nicki NEED to do a collaboration. She has praised Nicki in the past, and Nicki needs to pay tribute to how shes got a career.

I love Missy Elliot, but I won't hold my breath on a new album.  It's gonna be hard for her to have commercial success again.  She's been gone for so long.  I also miss the days of Foxy Brown, Eve and Lil' Kim.

Missy will really need to bring the innovation and catchy hooks in order to find commercial success again. I think it is possible, however she must really deliver a strong first single that will re-establish herself as a force in the hip-hop community, otherwise it might be her first outright flop.  Miss E...So Addictive is my favorite of her albums, but I really think most of her albums are strong and consistent.
