Now that I have caught up on this fabulous 5th season of "Mad Men," I have to say I am very impressed. I believe this season is the best the series has had ever. I think this season could win another Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, and I currently predict it to do so.

-Supporting Actress in a Drama Series - January Jones
-Directing in a Drama Series - Matt Shakman - "Mystery Date"
-Writing in a Drama Series - Semi Chellas and Matthew Weiner - "The Other Woman" [WIN]
-Writing in a Drama Series - Victor Levin and Matthew Weiner - "Mystery Date"
-Writing in a Drama Series - Matthew Weiner - "Lady Lazarus"
-many more Creative Arts Emmys

^Really?  The best?  It's been better than Season four and better than the first half of Season 3 but it hasn't felt like it was leading to anything all year until last Sunday.  A lot of this season has been disjointed and seemingly thrown in there because it was amusing or they wanted to fill space.  Last week's episode did a lot to reassure me that they have been building towards something all year but I didn't feel that way for most of this season.  I would put it above season four and that is about it, honestly.  Signal 30 and The Other Woman do seem to be the writing nominees for them this year.  Far Away Places is likely to get the directing nod cause I can see the Academy going for that stylistic usage of storytelling, even if it isn't entirely original or helpful to getting the point across.

I think he was drunk.  I too received a string of hate filled messages from him. I asked him what he was referring to and then he proceeded to call me a stupid fucking liberal (which I'm not really) and posting links to Obama (who I don't even care for) looking foolish.  I apologized if I did anything to upset him and he continued for like two hours while I ignored him before sending me this message:

I wasn't drunk at all or else I might have let him suck me in.

Then he sent me a friend request lol - that I accepted because who cares?  I just wish I remember what I did to him to piss him off so heavily.

I found it amusing at first but it went on and on for HOURS to the point that it stopped being amusing and got to be a little unsettling.
