Didn't know that 30 Rock's order was just for 13 episodes, that's a bummer. It'll probably premiere in January right? I doubt they just let it end in december or something. That's sad. In the end, all that matters is that Happy Endings is renewed, I wonder when that news will come along, Deadline.com keeps insisting that it's a done deal. I'm glad that Community and Cougar Town are still safe, I had lost all hope on CT. |

HIMYM actually has been picked up for next season, so it needs to be on the schedule. For Your Emmy Consideration- The Americans and The Newsroom (Outstanding Drama Series) |

I'm sure this all old news by now to you guys, but Cougar Town has been picked up by TBS, instead of ABC.

ABC has renewed "Happy Endings". NBC has renewed comedies "The Office", "Parks and Recreation", "Up All Night", "Whitney", the reality "Fashion Star" and picked up another comedy, "Next Caller". NEXT CALLER (A.K.A. NEXT CALLER PLEASE) (NBC) - The Dane Cook/Collette Wolfe single-camera comedy, about a mismatched duo - she's spunky and fiercely intelligent, he's disheveled and purposefully detached - who host a relationship call-in show in New York City, is the latest pilot to land a series commitment at the Peacock. Stephen Falk is behind the Lionsgate Television-based half-hour, which was directed by Marc Buckland. Joy Osmanski also stars as the producer of said program with Ryan Devlin as a Ryan Seacrest-esque top-40 DJ-slash-TV host who also works at the station. |

I don't know what NBC is doing. It will be interesting to see their strategy. They have already committed to airing 13 comedies and 9 dramas next season. They are either really ambitious or really insane. |

It wouldn't surprise me to see NBC airing some of these comedies over the Summer after AGT. That seems to be the only plausible way that they found an excuse to renew Whitney.

Well, to be fair, "Whitney" was a logical renewal. The show's numbers were on par with (and sometimes better than) "Community" and "Up All Night". |

Sadly, its ratings have been lagging. In my opinion, it'll be a midseason replacement for the 1 CBS comedy that fails every year. That's why its not on there. The best album of the year so far. "Past Gone" is the best song of the year as well. Check out Mike Stud's debut album on iTunes. |

Nikita and Hart of Dixie are renewed. And thus Scott Porter becomes the first FNL alum who gets a series post FNL that lasts more than one season (Connie Britton doesn't count since she's no longer on American Horror Story).

According to Deadline, Harry's Law is cancelled. Even it was getting the most viewers of any NBC drama, getting below a 1.0 in the 18-49 demo consistenly wasn't going to cut it. For better or worse, old-skewing shows simply don't make the kind of money the advertisers want and thus young-skewing shows thrive.

NBC likes the shows 2 or 3 million viewers and half of them are in the right demo. Better Harry's law get 2 million viewers and 1 million be 18-49. I think the best show would be a million viewers and all 18-49. Or half a million all 18-34. |
