Really thought Bennett had Play Actress. But Nina Arianda, after losing last year, got to revive a role that surrounded her with a lot of buzz. Her win makes sense.

Excited about all the "Once" hardware. I loved the movie; the number they staged was beautiful and very different from everything else tonight. It really stood out.

NPH turned in another great job. That final closing number about being out of time was the perfect grace note.

Their rush to plug every single possible musical with potential mass-audience appeal pushed the show over yet again. They've really got to reign that in, but I suppose there is nothing to be done about it.

The idea to have the winning production teams and actors and everyone stand off to the side saved a lot of time, but it sapped some of the emotional pull of the wins at the same time.

What was up with Matthew Broderick? Just me or did he seem like he was half-asleep or something?
