As a loyal viewer I will watch every episode til the end, but truthfully I thought the last two seasons were going to be its last. I doubt it can recapture the near-masterpiece quality of writing / directing / acting that was season 2..

It's about time. I didn't even finish last season, I was just bored by this show.
Season 6 showed they are able to regain quality. who knows, maybe this last season will be quite good again.
Doesn't Kirk already have another series ready and waiting? I'd assume Parker won't do another series very soon, probably focusing on theatre again.
