With GCB now cancelled, what is next on the cards for the charming Kristin Chenoweth? I hear that she is loving the opportunity to do some concert work and is relishing this chance to do a full-fledged tour, but I doubt she is going to chuck an Idina Menzel and commit 90% of her career time to doing concerts.

Broadway? Or another TV series? And whatever did happen to the series that Ryan Murphy was developing for her?

Muse away, friends.

She has a couple of movies that are coming out this year.  The first one is "Hit and Run" a movie with Dax Shepherd and Kristen Bell.  The other one is a family comedy called "Queen Freak", but I'm not sure if it has a distributor yet.

She has also done readings for a revival of "On the Twentieth Century" and a new musical about Tammy Faye Baker.  Personally, I would like to see her return to Broadway and win another Tony Award before going back to a major role on a television show.

She is kind of turning into another Heather Locklear of television, i.e. any show she starts with gets cancelled after one or two seasons (Kristin, Pushing Daisies, Sit Down, Shut Up and GCB).

The whole Ryan Murphy series thing was kind of strange because shortly after it was announced Kristin then joined GCB.  I wonder if someone knew it would never get made or if there was some kind of fallout because she didn't appear in Glee at all this year despite being a fan favorite.  Of course it could be that they both planned on developing the show over a period of time and weren't concerned with doing it anytime soon.  Whatever the case if they are still on good terms I could definitely see her returning for an episode or two of Glee this next season.

Oh please, I don't want her to work with that twat again. I'm happy if that show got canned.

I was hoping she could continue her nomination streak at the Emmys this year, but all things come to an end.
And if you wanna make sense
Whatcha looking at me for?

That has not happened to Heather. Dynasty ran for a decade, Melrose Place ran for almost a decade, she gave Spin City life when it was on it's deathbed.  Only LAX got canned quickly.

Yeah I'm hoping that the Ryan Murphy series is still on the cards and they're just taking their sweet time in the development process. Perhaps a few guest spots on Glee can tide us over until the ball starts rolling on that one.

I agree with "Royal Night", I don't want her to rush into another series too quickly. I would love to see On The Twentieth Century come to fruition sometime soon. I heard that Hugh Jackman did the reading with her - the two of them would be phenomenal together. If Sean Hayes & Kristin Chenoweth were able to pull huge box office with Promises Promises, then Hugh Jackman & Kristin Chenoweth will be out of this world.

Kristen Chenoweth needs to play Dolly Parton in her biopic and win an oscar, then do an original musical and win a grammy to get EGOT

I love the idea of Kristin playing Tammy Faye Baker.  That would be FABULOUS and I could very well envision a massive Oscar campaing for that type of film.
