Boomer's failing gallbladder made a top 5 list!!! Of course it did. I'm only cracking jokes because he's on the road to recovery. I'm not a jerk, I promise. :) Scary medical situations are intense, but glad he's got a great support system, great doctors, and is going to get better soon. Not only for his sake and the people that love him, but mostly for mine -- he's my favorite GoldDerby contributor. Get well soon, Chris! |

I've been away from the forums a bit, so it was a bit of a shock to see this thread. I'm glad that the worst is now over, and I wish you a speedy recovery Boomer! I'm sure you'll be back on these forums in no time! ;) |

Thanks for all the well wishes to all of you. It was a really incredibly bad week filled with lots of complications and major surgery that should have been minor. The doctor released me from the hospital this morning, so while it will take a couple of weeks to fully recover, I can certainly contribute here in the forums (how about all those crazy poll threads I would have eliminated?) and hopefully great Emmy coverage. By the way, the super size flower arrangement was from the producer and cast of one of the major shows on television. How unbelievably nice was that? The card said that "they predict I will be better soon." |

Welcome back Boomer. It sure is great to have you around again. Again, so sorry that you had to go through that major surgery. I really hope that the recovery process goes well. And it's so funny that you mention the poll threads because I was thinking to myself that if you been online you would have dealt with them in a flash. You definitely keep things on track here in the Emmy forum!

Speedy recovery Boomer. Nothing like a little personal terror to make you wish for the escapism of a good TV show.
Never Give Up. Never Surrender.
