If I could watch any type of show at the end of days it would be drama because I believe that including film and other forms of media drama television is the best material around for people to work with. The nominees this year include 3 previous best drama series winners (Damages in 2008, Breaking Bad in 2009 and Good Wife in 2011), one other of the nominees is 4 time nominee for drama series and finnaly the other shows are first time nominees (Homeland and Southland). The runner up for drama series this year like the winner is also on AMC. That show is Breaking Bad who I think most people would put on top as the best drama on TV. Of course it did have a great season with some standout momets like Walt in the crawl space, the fight in Bug and the demise of Gus, The show was of course up their with it's best season whch in my opnion was season three even though it won my series award for season 2. The show was good enough to win 3 awards including the main award for supporting actor.
In the end the winning show is on AMC that show is Mad Men who had like every other season had an amazing season. The episodes the show made this year maynot have been like series best but about every episode was high class enjoyment that if any other show had these episodes you would say that this is amazing but because it's Mad Men there less then impressive. For the first time in the shows five year history I'm actually hoping that the show wins the big prize come september. The show is the biggest winner of the year winning ix awars including one for acting which went to Hendricks.
PREVIOUS WINNERS: 2000: The West Wng 2001: Buffy: The Vampire Slayer 2002: Six Feet Under 2003: The Sopranos 2004: The Sopranos 2005: Lost 2006: Six Feet Under 2007: Grey's Anatomy 2008: Damages 2009: Breaking Bad 2010: Dexter 2011: The Good Wife

Well, I am happy we agreed on the main category. I, too, faced a huge indecision between Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Homeland - and the fact that I've given Mad Men the award in 2010 and 2011 almost made me choose Breaking Bad. In the end, though, I picked Mad Men because, yes, although it did present an irregular season, it was still amazing, and, as I recall, the first episodes of Breaking Bad's 4th season were somewhat disappointing, at least to me. But Mad Men, this season, has presented us GREAT episodes, such as Far Away Places, The Other Woman and Commissions and Fees, so I think the tape voting system can only help it, although, of course, Breaking Bad and Homeland have also had phenomenal tapes.
