"Mommie Dearest" is my "favorite" on this list because it's really a great film -- and it has NO BUSINESS being a Razzie champ. I give Razzie chief John Wilson holy hell about this all the time -- they frequently confuse camp with crap and that's WRONG, baby!![]() |

I suppose MOMMIE DEAREST won the Razzie since child abuse really is no laughing matter, although the movie, perhaps undeliberately, turns it into one. I voted for SHOWGIRLS, mostly because it's even more campy--that orgasm in the pool scene has to be seen to be believed. And because I also loathe Las Vegas, which the movie captures perfectly in all its tacky, gaudy splendor. |
