Glee is 60 minutes and it's a comedy. Running time shouldn't define what a show is.
The best album of the year so far. "Past Gone" is the best song of the year as well. Check out Mike Stud's debut album on iTunes. |

I Think that next years suppoting actress in a comey series will be between Jane Krakowski and Sofia Vergara. Sofia will have a birth episode Jane will have a wedding episode (I'm guessing) |

Dan Fienberg's liveblog of Showtime's TCA presentation describes it as a drama. Here are some quotes: 1:42 p.m. Showtime has two new dramas premiering in 2013. Up first, we get clips from "Masters of Sex." 1:52 p.m. Nevins says that "Masters of Sex" may be more serious than the clips we just saw. "I think the script has enormous wit, but the fundamentals do come from the book," Nevins says, promising that the drama will be central. He also bans people for pointing out that threatening to ban someone for personal attacks and calling them an idiot is hypocritical. There are an endless number of gmail accounts out there anyway. |

Earlier this week, HBO announced that Enlightened and Girls would premiere together in January instead of the slots that they premiered in last season. They left out Veep from their announcement -- which leads me to theorize that Veep may premiere its second season with the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, meaning it will be held for Summer 2013, making Dreyfus/the show/etc. ineligible at the 2013 awards. Again, just a theory.

I don't think Curb Your Enthusiasm will be back as soon as next summer (if it ever comes back at all). |

True, the ending to last season did have a "series finale" feel to it, but if the show wins some Emmys this year (i.e. directing, David, etc.) then HBO will have more of a reason to bring it back.

According to reports, Larry David is focusing on the movie he's preparing for HBO and hasn't even decided yet whether he'll do another season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm". "Veep" will probably air in the spring with "Game of Thrones". I think summer 2013 will be reserved for another pairing of "True Blood" and "The Newsroom". |

HBO has already said they'd like to have it back. It's up to Larry David if and when to have another season, and he is apparently focused on a different project right now.

I'm wondering how long it will take until a broadcast network drama returns to the Outstanding Drama Series category? Was this year just an anomaly? The vast majority of fall network dramas don't look like Emmy contenders to me but I suppose we'll have to wait for reviews. My current prediction is that we're going to have another year without a broadcast nominee–The Good Wife will remain the only likely contender. |

Vegas, Nashville, The Following, and Hannibal have the best shots. But, Vegas is on CBS, which mean they might turn it into a procedural and Hannibal is on NBC, meaning it'll probably be cancelled. The other two might end up being showcases for their leads only. Anything can happen.

I think that The Good Wife will come back. |

That is probably the likeliest scenario for a broadcast network to get back in. It's possible that Boardwalk Empire goes downhill from it's second season without Jimmy around, since it was his arc that made the second season as good as it was and not so much Nucky, and then Good Wife gets back in at it's expense if it has a strong fourth season. I would say Last Resort has a strong chance as well if they manage to build from the initial premise. What's helping Good Wife and the other broadcast contenders is that they're aren't many big cable dramas rolling out this season, except for whichever of the Showtime pair debuts this season (if either of them do). |

Boardwalk Empire could be out next year only to be replaced by The Newsroom. As for The Good Wife, I think the ship has sailed. It likely won't be back no matter how well the fourth season fare. Its viewer numbers and ratings are low compared to other CBS shows, so I won't be shocked if it gets canceled after four seasons. |
