Here's The Killers first official single from 'Battle Born'! I really like it a lot. For me, this ranks up there with some of The Killers very best such as "When You Were Young" and "Mr. Brightside". Listen below and post your thoughts! "Runaways" |

Wow...didn't even know they were coming back. One of my favorite bands ever. And any time I can say this, I'll say it: Sam's Town is the most underrated album of the last few years. It's really amazing, much better than Hot Fuss and several songs there are better than Mr Brightside and others from that album. I never really understood why this album failed for them, Read My Mind alone should've been enough to put this album over Hot Fuss in terms of sales and buzz. Runaways is pretty good, it's the type of thing you wanna listen when an artist has been gone for so long, not that crap Nelly Furtado has been putting out. Hopefully No Doubt will pull something as good. Glad they're coming back, I've missed them a lot. |

Upon first listen the song isn't that good, but i intend on giving it a massive chance because i love The Killers.

At first listen, the song is underwhelming. But I've thought the same thing about almost all of their singles at first listen, and they've grown on me. I haven't been knocked off my feat and blown away by them with a song since "Somebod Told Me". I'll give it another chance. The unfortunate thing about this release is that it stands the chance of getting lost in the shuffle as we move into the back half of the year. New albums from Green Day, No Doubt, Mumford and Sons, and others are sure to garner a lot of attention. How visable will a new Killers release be? I was hoping for a barn-burner of a first single. |

Not bad. I like The Killers. Heck, "Believe Me Natalie" is my third favorite song of all time. After Day & Age, I'm hoping they'll put out something of Sam's Town or Hot Fuss quality.
Here's my signature... just so I have it. That way, I have it. I promise. It's just to have it.

Their album is dropping on September 18th, a week before No Doubt. Two big comeback albums in a row! I really hope they both deliver. I adore both bands and have seen both live; in a word, they're both incredible. |

Lol, not exactly the same type of comeback. For The Killers, it's just a new album. It's not like they've been gone long. |
