Series episodes were turned in during the spring, but they CAN make changes to the titles and pairings now that the nominations have been announced. Guest actors also turned in their episode choices in the spring but can't make changes.

The two episodes on the first tape were both nominated for Directors Guild Awards this year and "Palestinian Chicken" was nominated for the equivalent category at the Emmys, so they have a history with being liked by voters.  Tape B comprises what might be the two funniest episodes of the season.  The final act of "Mister Softee" has to be in and the voters also seem to like "Larry vs. Michael J. Fox" since they nominated it for guest actor (compare "The Hero"), so that is also a good choice.
